IS THE GLOBE WARMING?

      The strength, the beauty and the appeal of science is that you actually see the conclusions you draw and what you eventually learn. All of these make laboratory work an integral part in the process of learning and in the development of science. There is a basic law in science however that, getting down to brass tacks, says that science cannot create anything but can transform from one form to another. One learns this at about the first year in the science class.

     

It is true that the North Pole is gradually warming up. It is also true that the South Pole is gradually freezing up more and more. Finally, it is true that in between these extremities, no changes, drastic or not, have been observed. Therefore, it is contrary to facts to conclude that the entire planet is warming up. That conclusion is fraudulent and unscientific. I wonder why no one has claimed that the Globe is freezing up because the South Pole does.      

The warm up at the North Pole has been attributed to greenhouse effect that results from carbon dioxide emission. Can it possibly be that the same greenhouse effect has brought about the increase in freezing at the South Pole? If the answer is yes, then the greenhouse syndrome is definitely absurd. The water in the kettle does not freeze up when you plug the kettle on. If the answer is no, it follows then that the greenhouse syndrome cannot be sustained and that the greenhouse effect is not tenable. It is surely unbecoming of scientists to whimsically bend scientific rules. More importantly, it is preposterous for man to ever imagine that what he does can alter the structure or well-being of the world which the LORD GOD created.     

There is explanation though for the apparent warming at the North Pole. It is far from been scientific. It is wholly spiritual. The LORD GOD created Adam on Earth. The Garden of Eden was on this Earth but spiritual in nature. He started life in this physical world at the North Pole when he was banished from the Garden of Eden in Paradise. At that time, there were the six months of day time and six months of darkness, so to say. In spite of that, there was no ice anywhere. The vegetation was rather stunted, hardly reaching beyond Adam’s midsection. I must confess that I was not shown in my vision what obtained at the South Pole at that time. That can however be easily deduced from the present observations: When the North Pole warms up, the South Pole freezes up. Can this also be vice versa? It’s impossible to guess because there were no observations to back this up.       

The significance of the warming at the North Pole is that the Earth is completing a life cycle as it relates to its existence in the physical. We are gradually approaching the end of this world as we know it. For Adam and therefore for all mankind, the physical world marked the end of life in the spiritual (death in the Garden) and the beginning of life in flesh and blood. Conversely, the end of the physical world means the end of life in flesh and blood and the return to life in the spiritual where eternal life is possible. Be on the look out!      

Already, observations show that the Earth takes more and more time each year to complete its cycle. The slowing down means that the balance of forces that keeps the Earth in orbit is weakening. When this becomes critical, then at any moment, the Earth will fly off at a tangent, without any orbit any more. Respecting this, Peter says: “But the day of the LORD will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.” 2 Peter 3:10. On His part, Jesus Christ says: “The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.” Matthew 24:29. Finally, the LORD GOD speaks through Isaiah: “Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment and its inhabitant die like flies. But my salvation will last for ever, my righteousness will never fail.” Isaiah 51:6.  That raises the important question: Are you saved, that is do you have the righteousness of the LORD GOD?

THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN DIFFERENT WORLDS

    We shall consider lives in the Kingdom of GOD, the spiritual worlds of Satan, Hades and 4, life in the physical world of flesh and blood. As can be expected, there is a gradation in the quality of life in each of these worlds. For clarity, we should also state that the Kingdom of GOD is in the spiritual, the Spirituality of GOD. As it is, the physical eye of flesh and blood is incapable of seeing anything in the spiritual. To all intents and purposes, the spiritual does not exist as far as flesh and blood is concerned. Equally, eye in the spiritual world of Satan sees nothing in the Kingdom of GOD. This explains the reason why science and those people vast in occult practices and other satanic spiritual activities have failed to find any of the heavens. I thank the LORD GOD for His Mercies. It is my privilege and honor to share with you here my special and peculiar endowments. Hades is in the spiritual; but it is not part of the spiritual world of Satan. The spirits of the dead live here. Let us recollect that the spirit of man can only be active in a life with GOD. Hades is under the control of GOD but not part of the Kingdom of GOD. It is the waiting chamber, as it is, pending the destruction of everything physical and judgment of all unrighteousness.

 

The Earth
We shall start with the Earth in which we live and are familiar with. For now, the earth is in the domain of Satan. As such, it is occupied by man active in the sinful nature. Life in flesh and blood has the most degrading qualities. It is a world of disorder and total chaos. It completely lacks every redeeming feature. For a start, it is only life in flesh and blood that the inhabitants fend for their living. Man has been unable to fathom the severity of GOD’s pronouncement:

“Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat of if,’
“Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.” Genesis 3:17.  There is no labor for food in the Kingdom of GOD. There is no labor for food in Hades and there is no labor for food in the spiritual worlds of Satan.

We shall try to unravel the full ramification of the curse on the ground. It is the farmers that basically produce food. The others engage themselves in other pursuits to earn money to buy food. In clear terms, they eat “through painful toil” just as the farmer does. That curse on the ground is the root curse of all the professions including farming. If only you could imagine a life in which you could have all that you wanted without any hassle of any kind! I know; it is unimaginable; it is unthinkable; it all seem so unreal. Of course, it is out of this world.

It is a fact: Every activity in the life of flesh and blood is serving the punishment the LORD GOD meted out to Adam in the Garden of Eden. Not only Adam, Eve bore her share: “I will greatly increase your pain in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children.” Genesis 3:16. This has given rise to all the problems associated with pregnancy, delivery, labor and all that is contingent on post natal exigencies.  In the heaven directly above us, the babies come in the rain. In spite of that, the people there pair up male and female. Indeed, the LORD GOD is infinite in all aspects imaginable and unimaginable.

King Solomon summed it up nicely: “Meaningless! Meaningless! Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless.” Ecclesiastes 1:2. In the other worlds, without an exception, there is no practice of any profession in any way. Apart from Hades where you have no desires, you wish what you want and it materializes. There is no need for means of transportation. In effect, there is no need for airplanes, airports and all the staff that work there. There is no need for vehicles. Therefore, there are no motor ways, civil engineers to construct roads and bridges and all what not. In fact, life in flesh and blood is not only so much a life full of hardships as it is meaningless. Thinking of it, what makes life in flesh and blood so traumatic is the fact that we come with nothing and at the end of all the attendant struggles, scheming in every way imaginable and unimaginable, we depart, taking nothing along with us. What accounts for the zest, gusto, relish, greed, treachery, hatred, malice aforethought and all the inhumanities of man to man that go into every day of life, most especially when it all amounts to nothing? Of what value is the human vanity entrapped in the burrows of death?

 

The Bane of Life in flesh and blood
The bane of life in flesh and blood is the fact that everyone does his or her own will. This does not happen even in the spiritual worlds of Satan. Nothing can come out of this other than chaos. And, really and truly, it is total chaos when compared to life in the other worlds. In order to achieve a semblance of order, we have, first of all, government of a kind all over the place, elected or not; the courts of law and lawyers that are basically not concerned with the truth but what is proved; the law enforcement agencies and the correction centers. Man was created for life with the LORD GOD in the spiritual. But, Adam’s possession of human knowledge in preference to divine knowledge of good and evil, has kept the Spirit at bay. That being the case, nothing can turn out well for man for he bears GOD’s wrath and punishment. There is no effort on his part that can surmount this predicament or overturn the sentence.

 

Hades
Hades is a spiritual world. It is occupied by those whose activities in flesh and blood have ended. Since the spirit of man can be active only in the Spirituality of GOD, Hades can only exclusively be under GOD’s control. I have watched programs on TV in which clairvoyants often give accounts of inter-relationships among the dead. They relate such activities as marriage. This is doubtful. It is necessary though to make some clarifications. What we shall focus upon is how to identify anyone who is basically not a human being, but rather, first and foremost, a spirit from one of the spiritual worlds of Satan who is now here living in flesh and blood. Anyone who is naturally capable of simultaneous activities in the spiritual while active in flesh is not a bona fide human being. From this premise, clairvoyance is evidence of active satanic spirituality. As clairvoyants are spirits from the spiritual worlds of Satan, they have all information. The nature of the spirits who live in Hades is different from the nature of spirituality of Satan. A clairvoyant cannot see anything in that world. That notwithstanding, they may know what goes on there for the Spirit of GOD cannot be found there.

Another simple way to identify spirits in human form is that they know whatever happens in their absence. Going by this application, one finds that women are more commonly identify as non-humans than men. Care must be taken and avoid a rush to such a conclusion that men do not belong to this class. The truth is that they do. They are only fewer in number. The basic identification is that anyone, active in flesh and blood, and is capable of unnatural accomplishments, is not a bona fide human being.

Let us go back to our discussion on clairvoyance. The narration of clairvoyants about life after death is quite different from what the Bible says. “Whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.” Ecclesiastes 9:10. “I am set apart with the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom you remember no more, who are cut off from your care.” Psalm 88:5.

Records show that no one has been to Hades, the world of the dead and has come back to give a report of what happens there. The land of the dead we shall discuss here is not accessible to the flesh. In my chequered and unusual experiences in life, I have met a man in Nigeria who claimed to have lived for nine years in a small village by the Lagos Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean, inhabited by both the living and the dead. According to him, he went there to acquire spiritual know-how, and believe you me, he actually did acquire it. I can neither explain the type of life nor the type of death those ‘dead’ had gone through. Also, it will be narrow-minded of me to dismiss his claim off hand. However, we can arrive at two unequivocal conclusions: The mere fact that the village is in this world of flesh and blood puts it squarely in the domain of Satan. According to the report, both the living and the ‘dead’ jointly participate in ritual festivals and marry each other. These are strange to the Hades where bona fide humans go after their death in the flesh and live without any activity whatsoever.

In my visions, I have visited Hades on four occasions. On the first occasion, I went through the gates through which were heavily manned but all the same kept wide open. There are people there to ensure that the unwanted do not go in. The way-in was indeed very wide. I was approached and without asking me any questions, I was allowed to pass through. I at once found myself in the house of a friend who had died in a motor accident. His mannerism remained the same. In other words, nothing had changed about him except that he was no more in a life of flesh and blood. Our discussions revealed that he was well aware of everything happening on earth. As he had come to realize the futility of life on earth, he had no interest beyond the knowledge. That gave me the awareness that a spirit has all information as a matter of course without recourse to media.

Each dead occupies a small bungalow painted white. All the houses stand separate. There is no social activity of any kind for they remain indoors all of the time. No fending for food. They are at rest and at peace with themselves, patiently awaiting the Last Day. The situation is quite different with those who have been involved in various worldly activities and have compromised themselves with satanic powers. They are unable to rest and have peace. They hurry back to earth, for one thing or the other. To their frustration, they are unable to communicate with their loved ones or effect any change in the position of things that bother them. They come back to Hades but have no such peace of mind as to go inside and take rest.

When it was time for me to leave, I realized that the entrance was a one way. No one goes out through the entrance gate, ever. I was escorted to the exit gate which was at the other end. There was a permanent red traffic light there, meaning there was no exist. It took sometime to get the gate opened for me and I safely came back to life in flesh and blood. On other occasions, I simply found myself there in my dreams or visions.

 

The Spiritual Worlds of Satan
We know that the earth is a world. This extent and scope do not apply when we talk about the spiritual worlds of Satan. There is no order regarding how the satanic spiritual worlds are located. A spiritual world may be localized in a mountain or in a mountain range alongside a sea; it may be in a tree or trees in a plantation. Some are in air. The others are in water. There is also spiritual wilderness of wide extent where anything goes because no one is in charge. At best, the spiritual worlds are as big as our large cities here on earth. Each world, so to speak, governs itself independent of the other worlds. This notwithstanding, there is inter-relationships between these worlds, most especially in the matter of marriage.

As we have stated, the eye in the spirituality of Satan sees nothing in the Spirituality of GOD. In all intents and purposes, the Spirituality of GOD does not exist as far as someone active in the spirituality of Satan is concerned. This has given rise to many false assumptions that the heavens and even GOD do not exist. This is similar to the instance where many people here on earth, limited to flesh and blood entertain serious doubts about occultism and the accomplishments of spiritual prowess.

            I became aware of the difference in nature between the two spiritualities when I had the grace to accompany one particular woman on a home-visit, as it were. She is the Head of that kingdom or world. This kingdom is inhabited by girls raised to be given away in marriages to inhabitants from other kingdoms. There is a large reception area, professionally set up with offices and staff. In order to preserve the chastity and purity of the girls, no one from outside goes beyond the reception area which we can regard as serving the same purpose as Immigration at any port of entry.

            To my surprise, this visitor was not allowed in. I suppose that while she was on leave of absence to Earth, as it were, she was temporarily not a member. She was sat down at the reception while someone went to inform the regent, an older woman in comparison. I realized that no one saw me because I was not attended to. I sat down on one of the empty chairs. After a few minutes, I walked through the entrance that led into the kingdom as there were no doors or gates leading to the inside. The reception area was located in such a way that prevented even a pip into the inside of the kingdom. I saw a number of buildings, each of four stories, built of blocks made from sand and cement. It was a surprise for me to find so much order in a spiritual world of Satan. The atmosphere was even serene and everyone was indoors.

It will probably surprise you as it surprised me when I found out that in the spiritual worlds of Satan, the inhabitants do not enjoy the luxury of exercise of freewill. In whatever world you are, you automatically carry out the laid down rules of law. In effect, there is no breakdown of law and order in any form. There is no evidence of any of those trappings that remind us of a situation of divergent and independent applications of freewill regarding what is personally judged as good or evil. Therefore, it is not necessary to institute checks and balances in the society. There is no need whatever for politicians, law enforcement agents, or courts of law. I was taken aback when I found out that there was no favoritism. Everyone, including the leaders, is equally regarded and treated. There is no special treatment of any kind. There is no exemption to the rule. Remarkably, there is peace except in the wilderness.

Without any doubt, the quality of life in a typical spiritual world of Satan is superior in many ways to life in flesh and blood here on earth. There is no labor. There are no unfulfilled wishes or ambitions. Desires and aspirations are automatically realized. There is no violence or breakdown of law and order. Everyone fulfils the required expectations. On top of all that, there is no death. In contrast, the Bible says: “You turn men back to dust, saying, ‘Return to dust, O sons of men.’ ” Psalm 90:3. Of course, there is no religion. No one is in doubt of the inevitable destruction that will come in its own time. In one so-called developed world, however, the houses are crowded together. Though the scenery was lacking in class and taste, yet the individual houses show more class than what I expected.       

 

 

Live in the Kingdom of GOD
The worlds in the Kingdom of GOD are called heavens. The heavens are in the spiritual, the Spirituality of GOD. In contrast to the spiritual worlds of Satan, the inhabitants carry out the will of GOD. The heavens are bounded at the top by the Abode of GOD. The Earth is at the lowest end. It will soon become a heaven when the reign of Satan comes to an end. The quality of life on Earth when it becomes a heaven will rank second. The quality of life in the heaven directly above us is probably the lowest.

As for man, life in the kingdom of heaven is a total bliss. There is class of super standard. There is taste. There are beautiful sceneries: low-cut green grasses, well spaced trees and very beautiful flowers in between the houses that are well spaced apart. Your heart’s desires are met without effort on your part. This time, you do not eat from the fruits of your labor. Most important of all, everyone does the will of GOD.

I am limited by what are decent and reverent in setting limits on what to reveal. For certain, I shall write nothing about the seventh heaven, the abode of the Almighty GOD. As we have probably imagined, the quality of life in the Kingdom of GOD can never be equaled anywhere else. While the set-up in some of the even advanced worlds in the spiritual world of Satan are more or less shanties, life in the Earth as heaven is beyond any imagination and comparison in beauty, bliss, peace and all round well-being.

SIN: A PREDICAMENT OF THE FLESH

          There is no gainsaying it, a great deal of people earnestly desire a life without sin. Towards this end, they have their own list of don’ts. What motivates this is their love for their Creator. They yearn desperately for eternal life with GOD. As it is, there are no sinners in the kingdom of GOD.

            However, it is most unfortunate that man has been unable to recognize and come to terms with the terrible inadequacy of the flesh and blood nature. The fact is, this nature is a sure sentence to eternal life in Hell. In a nutshell, flesh and blood has no part with eternal life in the kingdom of GOD. The kingdom of GOD and the process of gaining admission is entirely a spiritual affair. This being the case, we have to understand GOD’s attitude to sin.

            The first man, Adam, sinned. How did the LORD GOD react to this? “Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.” Genesis 3:17. And so, Adam was punished indirectly for his sin. The severity of this punishment can only be fully assessed and appreciated if one had the opportunity to the quality of life in other worlds. The truth is that though the punishment is indirect, yet nothing else can surpass it in severity or have a greater consequence.

            We must now look closely at how man lost eternal life. “And the LORD GOD said, ‘The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live for ever.’ So the LORD GOD banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.” Genesis 3:22 & 23. We must not overlook the fact that the condition for man to live eternally in the kingdom of GOD was established at creation. Let us clarify this point. Adam ate the fruit of knowledge and good and evil. According to the LORD GOD, Adam gained wisdom like the LORD GOD. There is however, a difference. Adam gained personal wisdom. This would only result in self-righteousness. On the other hand, had Adam eaten the fruit of life, he would have gained divine knowledge of good and evil, that is his spirit would have become born of Spirit, that is would have been led by the Spirit to do the will of GOD, the only condition for man to enter into the kingdom of GOD.

The Definition of Righteousness
Adam knew good like the LORD GOD. In spite of that, he was banished from Paradise. It follows then that whatever good we do cannot buy us a ticket into the kingdom of GOD. The fact remains that the LORD GOD has the monopoly of righteousness and the judgment of all unrighteousness. It is only what the LORD GOD does and what has been directed by His Spirit that are righteous. This informs the emphasis of Jesus Christ: “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” John 3:5.

One is born of water as a result of proper baptism in water. That one is united with Jesus Christ in His death and in His resurrection and is reconciled with GOD in the spiritual. The Bible says: “Those who are led by the Spirit of GOD are the sons of GOD.” Romans 8:14. Adam had no chance of eternal life even though he possessed knowledge of good and evil like the LORD GOD. Can you do better?

The attitude of GOD to Sin

            From the time of creation, GOD’s attitude to sin has been punishment. The first man sinned. As it has just been established, he was punished for his sin. Cain sinned when he killed his brother Abel. He did not escape the punishment. Abraham sinned when he asked the LORD GOD for a sign that his descendants would truly possess the Land of Canaan. At the time the LORD GOD made His promise, some of the tribes on that piece of land were giants. Abraham regarded it as almost impossible to accomplish. The LORD GOD gave Abraham a sign indeed; but here is what he got in addition: “Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own, and they will be enslaved and ill-treated four hundred years. But I will punish the country they serve as slaves, and afterwards they will come out with great possessions.” Genesis 15:13 & 14.

            Even the celebrated Moses sinned. At the Desert of Zin, there was no water and the people became angry. They accused Moses and Aaron of wrong doing by bringing them out of Egypt. As customary with them, Moses and Aaron went to converse with GOD at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. The LORD GOD said to Moses, “Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so that they and their livestock can drink.” Numbers 20:8. As it happened, Moses and Aaron put in their own variation. Moses, with staff in hand in obedience to the command of GOD, and in company with his brother Aaron, gathered the assembly together in front of the rock. Here is what Moses said to the people: “Listen, you rebels, must we bring water out of this rock?” Numbers 20:10. According to the Bible, Moses then struck the rock twice with the staff and water gushed out.

            Something has always struck me in this episode: GOD’s faithfulness which can never fail. Even though Moses and Aaron did not do exactly what the LORD GOD commanded them, still, the LORD GOD kept to His promise. However, Moses and Aaron did not get off scot-free. The LORD GOD said to them: “Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I promise them.” Numbers 20:12. In actual fact, Moses pleaded with the Almighty GOD several times for a change of heart. On the last occasion, the LORD GOD reacted by saying: “That is enough. Do not speak to me any more about this matter.” Deuteronomy 3:26. However, the compassionate GOD allowed him to see the Promised Land from the top of Mount Pisgah.

            David sinned.  He coveted Bathsheba, Uriah’s wife. And so, he plotted his death. The LORD GOD sent Nathan to David: “Out of your own household I am going to bring calamity upon you. Before your very eyes I will take your wives and give them to one who is close to you, and he will lie with your wives in broad daylight. You did this in secret, but I will do this in broad daylight before all Israel.” 2 Samuel 12:11-12. How then was this fulfilled? The Bible tells us: “So they pitched a tent for Absalom on the roof, and he lay with his father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel.” 2 Samuel 16:23.

            Solomon was special. He was the one chosen by GOD to build the first Temple in Jerusalem. The LORD GOD blessed him with wisdom, and moreover, he did not fight a single battle as king. It was the LORD’s doing. Solomon had wives from foreign tribes and he worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and Molech, the god of the Ammonites. Regarding David’s successor who would build the Temple for the LORD, the LORD GOD had promised: “I will be his father, and he shall be my son. When he does wrong, I will punish him with the rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men. But my love will never be taken away from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from before you.” 2 Samuel 7:14-15. The punishment Solomon received was that his kingdom became divided. He was no more king over the whole of Israel.

GOD punishes sins
            We have gone to such length to establish the fact that the Faithful GOD does not condone sin, no matter what. He described Himself to Moses: “The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious GOD, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation.” Exodus 34:6 & 7.

            THE Bible is quite explicit as to the fact that Adam was not banished from Garden of Eden in Paradise because he sinned or disobeyed. Rather. He was banished because he was no more suitable to be led by the Spirit of GOD to do the will of GOD. As we have established here, David, Solomon, Moses did not fall out of GOD’s favor because they sinned. In the case of David, it was the same Bathsheba who bore King Solomon. What then is the real position of sin?

Forgiveness or Destruction
            We have given examples illustrating that the LORD GOD does not allow sinners to escape punishment. That always ended the matter. Not all sinners are that lucky. Others were destroyed. The LORD GOD said to Moses when he asked the LORD GOD to show him His Glory: “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the LORD, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. But you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.” Exodus 33:19-20.

            During the time of Noah, the LORD destroyed every living thing on earth except all that were in the Ark. The Bible says: “Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with GOD.” Genesis 6:9. Abraham entertained three visitors as guests. One of them was the LORD while the other two Angels. The Angels were indeed on a mission to ascertain the extent of the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot recognized them as from the LORD and he undertook to provide them with accommodation in his house for the night. According to the Bible, men from all parts of the city, both young and old, gathered in front of Lot’s house. They demanded: “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.” Genesis 19:5. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed with fire. However, Lot and members of his family were allowed to flee before the destruction. How does one describe those who still drown themselves in the sin for which Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed when they claim that creation instilled that freak in them? What does it take to mock GOD?

            The LORD GOD appointed Aaron and his children a family of priests. However, Nadab and Abihu offered unauthorized fire before the LORD. In an instant, fire came from the presence of GOD and consumed them. They died on the spot. Another sinner that died on the spot was Uzzah. David was bringing back the Ark from Abinadab’s house to Jerusalem. On the way, the cows pulling the cart stumbled and Uzzah made the mistake of touching with his hand the Ark on which GOD wrote with His fingers.

            Peter was tempted by Satan and he denied Jesus Christ three times. Mary Magdalene had seven demonic spirits and Jesus Christ healed her. They were forgiven.  

Sin and the Kingdom of GOD
            Paul writes: “The acts of sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, dissentions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you as I did before that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of GOD.” Galatians 5:19-21. Put succinctly, sinners will not inherit the kingdom of GOD. To be more exact, the sinful nature will not inherit the kingdom of GOD. The sinful nature is the physical nature of flesh and blood. In confirmation of this, the Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:50 that flesh and blood is perishable and hence, cannot inherit the kingdom of GOD. The Pharisees were faultless in their observance of the law. Philippians 3:6. That notwithstanding, Jesus says: “For I tell that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:20. What we need is the righteousness of GOD through faith. Romans 3:21.

            It becomes obvious that no matter what the flesh and blood does, it shall not inherit the kingdom of GOD. The flesh and blood can attain a kind of righteousness: self-righteousness. Regarding this, Isaiah writes: “All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.”  Isaiah 64:6.

Reward for sin is punishment and not a disinheriting of the kingdom of GOD
            I know that this will not go down well with those super-pious Christians with their lists of dos and don’ts. No one will inherit the Kingdom of GOD as a reward for whatever. This gives credence to what the Bible says: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of GOD – not of works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. Some Christians are in the habit of claiming that following giving their lives to Jesus, they have given up some practices and were no more in the class of sinners. That is all balderdash. It earns them nothing.

            The Bible says: “Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law.” Romans 3:20. “You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.” Galatians 5:4. The fact remains that we cannot earn the kingdom of GOD. Neither can we work our way into it. Salvation is free.

The Road to the Kingdom of GOD
            What follows sin is either punishment or death. As Savior, Jesus Christ took the punishment for our sins on the cross and His blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins. That paves the way for our forgiveness and reconciliation with the LORD GOD. If we become conscious of this, we would not pre-occupy ourselves then with futile struggle to be righteous. Rather, we should embrace what the LORD GOD has put in place for our salvation.

            Jesus Christ says: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6. Jesus has given us the guidelines that lead us into the kingdom of GOD. The first one is repentance. We need to have a change of heart and be ready for the leadership of the Spirit. The next one is to believe that the LORD GOD sent Jesus Christ as our Savior. If you are ready to move forward, then you will have to enter into a covenant with the LORD GOD. The promise of GOD to save you is in the New Covenant. This is now observed as The Holy Communion. Standing firm on the promise of GOD, you can now move on and get baptized by one who has the spirituality of GOD. By baptism, your spirit is united with Jesus Christ in the spiritual. Romans 6:3-10. Colossians 2:12. You can now be led by the Spirit to do the will of GOD. Your spirit becomes born of Spirit. You become born of GOD.

            Jesus Christ put all of these in prayer. After he prayed for His disciples, He went on: “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in them through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” John 17:20-23.

            Adam would have participated in divine nature if he had eaten from the fruit of life. But he didn’t and he died in the spiritual or his activities came to an end there. That death is not reversible. That explains why and how Jesus Christ becomes the only way to the Father. Baptism unites one with Jesus Christ in His death and in His resurrection. The Spirit can now be in Jesus Christ who is in you. The unity with the LORD GOD sought with Adam can now only be achieved through Jesus Christ. There is no other way.

            What then is the way forward? Of course, you have repented and denounced your sinful ways. However, pursuing piety as an obsession is futile. Your preoccupation now should be how you will resurrect your spirit in Jesus Christ. Maybe, following that, your spirit will be born of Spirit. That is solely GOD’s prerogative. The Bible tells us: “He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of GOD appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of GOD will continue to sin, because GOD’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning because he has been born of GOD.” 1 John 3:8-9. “If you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.” Galatians 5:18. “Those who are led by the Spirit of GOD are sons of GOD.”  Romans 8:14.

            Let me remind that Adam was banished from the Garden of Eden in Paradise because he possessed knowledge of good and evil like the LORD GOD. It is an inversion of normal reasoning for any man to hope that by judicious application of the same knowledge, he will succeed in his effort to work his way back to Paradise and thereby earn eternal life. No matter the extent of personal righteous acts that you are credited with, your righteousness is on the same level as that of the Pharisees and teachers of the law. Matthew 5: 20. It is like a filthy rag before GOD. Isaiah 64:6. What you need is the righteousness of GOD. Romans 3:20-24. When your spirit is born of Spirit, John 3:5-6, you are led by the Spirit to do the will of GOD, just as the LORD GOD desired it with Adam. You become a son of GOD, Romans 8:14 and you are no more under the law. Galatians 5:18.

THE CONDITION FOR MAN TO HAVE ETERNAL LIFE

The wish, the aspiration, and the expectation of Christians are to be part of the kingdom of GOD. According to the Bible, Jesus Christ is the only way, the truth, and the life; without Him, no one gets to the Father. In general, Christians do not waver a bit about this. In spite of this, they are in the habit of stating different conditions for man to gain eternal life. Some invent: ‘Give your life to Christ’. Some again invent: ‘Accept Jesus Christ into your life’. These are not in the Bible. The Pentecostals ignore the command of Jesus Christ that believers should be baptised. In spite of this, their members claim that they are believers, and therefore are saved. By whom, I wonder? Worst still, they have nothing to do with the New Covenant for which Jesus Christ shed His blood. The others wrongly assume that their religious activities will earn for them the kingdom of GOD as a reward. The implication of all these is that they unwittingly convey the impression that there are different ways to the Father and to eternal life. This apparent state of confusion is the outcome of complete lack of spiritual understanding of the Bible.
      Here, using the Bible as our guide, we shall dispel all doubt regarding the condition for man to gain eternal life. The Bible is the inspired word of GOD. It is therefore valid in all aspects. Let us remind that the word of GOD does not change. He will not say one thing today and something else tomorrow. As will be established here, the condition for Adam to live with GOD is exactly the same condition Jesus Christ advocates. In simple terms, man must have the righteousness of the LORD GOD to gain eternal life. This is what the LORD GOD has prescribed since the time of creation.
 

THE TREES
    

        To start with, what we want to do is to establish the location of the Garden of Eden. The Bible says: “To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of GOD.” Revelation 2:7. Since the Garden of Eden is in the spiritual, Adam was therefore spirit.

      The first thing we want to know respecting the trees is what life meant in the first tree and what death meant in that commandment to Adam in respect of the second tree. If Adam had eaten the fruit of the tree of life, he would not have died in the spiritual in the Garden of Eden. Rather, he would have lived forever. Something must be in that tree that would have given eternal life to Adam. Let us find it out.

      What do we know about eternal life?  Jesus Christ says: “For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the SON to have life in Himself.” John 5:26. We know then that only the ALMIGHTY GOD is the source of eternal life. We can establish the following facts:
1.              Eternal Life is inherent in the LORD GOD.
2.              The LORD GOD grants eternal life. Otherwise you can’t have it.
 
Also, Jesus Christ says in John 4:24 that the LORD GOD is Spirit. In addition, Paul says: “For since the creation of GOD’s invisible qualities — his eternal power and Divine Nature — have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” Romans 1:20. In addition, the Bible says: “We know also that the Son of GOD has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true — even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true GOD and eternal life.” 1 John 5:20.  We can then say of the LORD GOD that:
 
GOD is Spirit                        GOD is Divine                             GOD is Eternal Life
 

Respecting Adam,
  Adam in spirit                +          Fruit of life           –>                  Eternal Life
 

It becomes obvious then that the fruit of life is the Divine Nature of GOD.
The meaning of this is that by eating the fruit of life, the LORD GOD becomes part of man. The spirit man becomes born of Spirit.
       Jesus Christ says the spirit of man is born of the Spirit of GOD. John 3:5&6.
       Peter says that we participate in the divine nature. 2 Peter 1:4
       Paul says that we each become a temple of the Living GOD. 2 Corinthians 6:16.
       Life in the first fruit therefore means Eternal Life with the LORD GOD or in other words, life in the kingdom of GOD.
      The second tree was the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The LORD GOD commanded Adam not to eat from this tree or else he would die. It seems this tree was the converse of the former one. The one gives life; the other brings death. Let us remind ourselves that we have just established the fact that Adam was in spirit existence in the Garden of Eden. For Adam, activity in spirit existence was life with the LORD GOD. Death in the commandment therefore meant death or end of activity in the spirit existence with the LORD GOD. This resulted in life with Satan in the physical nature of flesh and blood, a life doomed for destruction. Let us draw conclusions that are parallel to those we arrived at in respect of the fruit of life.

Also, by eating the fruit of knowledge of good and evil, Satan became part of man. By eating it, man was born of Satan, the first birth.
      The next thing we want to know about the two trees is what each represented. The tree of life represented life in the spiritual and partaking in Divine Nature (2 Peter 1:4), which would result in eternal life. The converse of that, the tree of knowledge of good and evil, represented death in the spiritual and total exclusion from Divine Nature and eternal life.
      The third thing we want to know about these two special trees is their point of difference. The second tree should provide us with a clue, as it was descriptive enough. This tree provided personal knowledge. We have already established the fact that these two trees were the converse of one another. If the tree that provided personal knowledge of good and evil was satanic and meant spiritual death, the converse of that, the tree of life, was for divine knowledge of good and evil besides eternal life.
       We can now sum everything up and say that if Adam had eaten the fruit of the tree of life, he would have embraced Divine Nature and thereby allowed the Spirit of the LORD GOD to endow him with the knowledge of good and evil and influence his decisions in choosing good or evil. The consequence of this would have been unity and eternal life in the spiritual with the LORD GOD. On the other hand, Adam ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil and gained instant knowledge to the total exclusion of the influence of the LORD GOD. This was a rejection of Divine Nature and eternal life. All of these resulted in unity with Satan in flesh and blood in the domain of Satan.
 

ETERNAL LIFE
       From what we have been saying about the trees, we can establish the conditions man has to fulfill in order to have Eternal Life. Really, there are only two: 1. Man must have active life in the spiritual. 2. Man must participate in the Divine Nature. Obviously, eternal life is a spiritual affair. As has been established, death in that commandment to Adam was death to eternal life in the spiritual. Sadly, it follows that man in flesh and blood remains dead to the process of eternal life. Therefore, eternal life is out of consideration for man in flesh and blood. The Bible says: “I declare to you brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of GOD, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.”  1 Corinthians 15:50. But there is still hope for rectification for man. The sole purpose of the Mission of Jesus Christ is to revive man in the spirit and, all other things being equal, come to eternal life.
     
 THE REASON WHY ADAM DIED IN THE GARDEN
      In complete disregard of what the Bible says, many are always too ready to say that Adam died in the Garden of Eden because he disobeyed. But this is what the Bible says: “Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat of it,’
“Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will at of it all the days of your life. ….Genesis 3:17-19.
However, regarding the death in the Garden or the banishment, this is what the Bible says: “And the LORD GOD said, ‘The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live for ever.’ So the LORD GOD banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.” Genesis 3:22&23. It becomes crystal clear that the reason Adam had to die in the Garden of Eden was that he possessed personal and not divine knowledge of good and evil. Personal knowledge of good and evil leads to self-righteousness. On the other hand, divine knowledge of good and evil leads to the righteousness of GOD. We shall now show from the Bible that this is the same as the teaching of Jesus Christ.
      
THE CONDITION SET BY JESUS CHRIST.
    
        Jesus Christ says: “For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:20. The Bible says in Philippians 3:6 that a Pharisee is faultless in his observance of the law. In this regard, the Pharisees were the limit of human achievement. The righteousness that will surpass that is the righteousness of GOD. Jesus Christ says in addition: “But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Matthew 7:26&27.
       On his part, Paul says: “By this Gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:2. Part of his teaching is: “But now righteousness from GOD apart from law has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from GOD comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.” Romans 3:21&22. We shall have time to elaborate on the testimony of the Law and the Prophets on another occasion.
      
       It follows then that your belief in Jesus Christ must earn for you the righteousness of GOD. If it doesn’t, Jesus says you are a foolish builder. Paul says that you have believed in vain. This is exactly the same condition that would have resulted had Adam eaten the fruit of life. The LORD GOD does not change. As the condition for man to have eternal life was in the beginning so it is now and for evermore shall it be. Q.E.D.
       Given this, it is most curious that the importance and the significance of the tree of life have not been properly grasped or evaluated by the majority of Christians. For man, eating the fruit of the tree of life is the sine qua non for eternal life in the kingdom of GOD. This means that part of the LORD GOD would become part of man. As it was for Adam in the beginning in the Garden of Eden, so it is still for us today and forever more shall it be. In its good time, we shall duly explain in full how Jesus Christ has come into the show.
      Man now lives in flesh and blood without any opportunity for eternal life. It is unfortunate that in ignorance, Christians still nurse the hope that by their obedience to the law and strict adherence to their lists of dos and don’ts, they shall be righteous enough to enter into the kingdom of GOD. Surely, they shall find themselves in fool’s paradise.
      The Bible says: “You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.” Galatians 5:4. We shall explain in detail the grace of salvation later. “Clearly no one is justified before GOD by the law, because, ‘The righteous will live by faith.’ ” Galatians 3:11. That the righteous will life by faith was in fact prophesied by Habakkuk: “But the righteous will live by his faith.” Habakkuk 2:4
       The Bible tells us about Noah: “Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with GOD.” Genesis 6:9. Noah of course had no access to divine knowledge of good and evil. He inherited, as we all do, personal knowledge from Adam. As we have shown from the Bible, that is incompatible with life in the kingdom of GOD. We must have the righteousness of GOD.
             Due to the death of Adam in the Garden of Eden, the fruit of the tree of life is no more accessible to man. Jesus Christ says: “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of GOD unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” John 3:5. This is a technical language for the practical details. Baptism in water, when properly done, unites one with Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection. Romans 6:3-10; Colossians 2:12. That one is born of Water. Jesus Christ resurrected into the Spiritual. Being born of water, implies forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with the Father and a come back to life in the spiritual. One can now be born of the Spirit or led by the Spirit to do the will of GOD. That one has eaten the fruit of life which Adam did not eat. Nothing has changed.
 
 SUMMARY
       It is impossible to over emphasize the importance of these two trees. Immediately after the creation of man, the issue that confronted him was that of the two trees in the middle of the Garden. It is not by coincidence that the Bible ends on the issue of the fruit of life. We shall therefore give the trees the attention they deserve by going over that aspect next time. All the same, let us summarize what we have learnt today.
       The Garden of Eden was in Paradise. Rev. 2:7. Therefore, Adam was a spirit. He was passive in his physical nature of flesh and blood. The two fruits were the opposite of one another.

5.              Man active in his spirit nature, is led by the Spirit of GOD to do the will of GOD and have the righteousness of GOD. The same condition Jesus Christ advocates.

   This fruit was satanic in nature.
   Death in the commandment meant death in the spirit nature resulting in life in flesh and blood. Also, it was death to eternal life.
   Adam ate this and part of Satan became part of man in flesh and blood. This led to unity between Satan and man.
   Man is born of Satan: the first birth.
   

   Man active in his physical nature of flesh and blood does his own will. His obedience to the law as well as his list of dos and don’ts earn for him
self-righteousness. The same as the righteousness of the Pharisee and the teachers of the law.

HELL: THE PRODUCT OF CIRCUMSTANCE

A good number of people ridicule the idea of hell by claiming that it is not compatible with the GOD of love. Some Christians and non-Christians alike, indulge themselves in self-delusion by doubting the reality of hell. Really and truly, hell is as real as real can be. Let us note the fact that the Loving GOD does not send anyone to hell. Hell is a place for those who do not do the will of GOD. They are rightly referred to as GOD’s enemies.

Our starting point is Satan. The Bible tells us that he was a Morning Star, like Jesus Christ. Regarding the source of the BOOK of Revelation, Jesus Christ says: “I Jesus have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.” Revelation 22:16. Isaiah says of Satan: “How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of GOD; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ ” Isaiah 14:12-14. On the other hand, Jesus Christ says: “If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in his love.” John 15:10.

We can safely deduce from here the reaction or the attitude of GOD to disobedience and rebellion. One outstanding attribute of GOD is that He does not practice favoritism. No matter who you are, a Morning Star or Adam or an Angel, you fall out of GOD’s love if you disobey His command. We must also emphasize the fact that in the abode of GOD, there is zero tolerance for disobedience. As we all know, man started off in the Garden of Eden in Paradise. He disobeyed. That very day, he became history in spiritual life in Paradise. He then lived in flesh and blood in a world which Satan rules – forming an association of rebels, one might say. Before I go on, it is pertinent to digress and write something about the dual nature of man.

 

The Duality of Nature
Many a man is ignorant of the fact that man is dual in nature, namely, the spirit nature and the physical nature of flesh and blood. It is the spirit nature that can live with GOD. On the other hand, man active in flesh and blood, lives in the domain of Satan. In contrast to the spiritual worlds of Satan, man in flesh and blood does his own will. It is absolutely impossible for man to be active in both natures at the same time. In other words, man cannot be with GOD and with Satan at the same time. The Bible says: “Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the LORD.” 2 Corinthians 5:6. The Grace of Salvation lies in the fact that in spite of that, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, while we are still alive in the body, our spirit is reconciled with GOD. One has then been born of water. That spirit can then be led by the Spirit of GOD to do the will of GOD. This Grace of Salvation applies only to the living.

Let us go on. It is reasonable to conclude then that only those who do the will of GOD are qualified to co-exist with Him. What interests us here is the fate of man. The important question we have to address is the possibility of man in flesh and blood doing the will of GOD. The simple answer is that it is neither practical nor possible. This explains why the Bible calls the flesh and blood the sinful nature. Romans 8:3, 5 &8. Can the sinful nature become unsinful? Certainly not, as this will be ambiguous and self-contradictory. In fact, it is absurd. Paul says: “I declare to you brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of GOD, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.” 1 Corinthians 15:50. The eternal fact remains that GOD is Spirit, John 4:24 and that His words are spirit, John 6:63. It follows then that it is the spirit of man that can do the will of GOD. In order to bring this about, the LORD GOD sent Jesus Christ on a rescue mission. By His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ put in place the unequivocal procedure for man’s forgiveness of sins, reconciling with GOD the spirit of man that died in the Garden of Eden.

 It becomes obvious that the Loving GOD did not purposely create anyone for hell. The alternative to hell is life with the LORD GOD. It is important to note that this is possible only in the spiritual. As it is, this carries an uncompromising condition: one must do the will of GOD. Satan rebelled against GOD. Consequently, he was no more suitable for a life with GOD. In the Garden of Eden in Paradise, Adam opted for personal knowledge of good and evil rather than divine knowledge of good and evil. As we all know, Adam was banished from Paradise.

Fortunately, man is not without hope. Jesus Christ has been sent as the Redeemer, the Savior. In contrast, Satan has no redemption. He cannot return to life with GOD. Unfortunately, the worlds of Satan will soon perish. This also includes life in flesh and blood which the Bible says is in the domain of Satan. 1 John 5:19.

Isaiah prophesies: “Wail, for the day of the LORD is near; it will come like destruction from the Almighty.” Isaiah 13:6. “See, the day of the LORD is coming – a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger – to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it.” Isaiah 13:9. “Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment and its inhabitants die like flies. But my salvation will last for ever, my righteousness will never fail.” Isaiah 51:6. “The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left.” Isaiah 24:5 & 6.

What then could have brought about GOD’s wrath? As we have observed earlier, the LORD GOD did not purposely create Lucifer. However, that Morning Star became over ambitious. Consequently, he lost his position in heaven. Obviously, he thereby made himself GOD’s enemy. The enmity between GOD and man resulted from Adam’s disobedience in the Garden of Eden. Man became GOD’s enemy when he possessed personal knowledge of good and evil like GOD, Genesis 3:22 and became incapable of doing the will of GOD but his own will. On the other hand, if Adam had eaten the fruit of life, he would have gained divine knowledge of good and evil, the only condition for man to do the will of GOD and live in the kingdom of GOD.

In the case of Satan, there is no reprieve. There is only a delay in executing his destruction. However, in the case of man, the LORD GOD sent salvation through Jesus Christ. For those who believed in Jesus Christ and followed His guidelines precisely, their salvation is assured. What then are these guidelines? Jesus Christ started His ministry by preaching: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” Matthew 4:17. Later on, the Jews asked Him: “ ‘What must we do to do the works GOD requires?’ Jesus answered, ‘The work of GOD is this: to believe in the one he has sent.’ ” John 6:28 & 29. He gave the next one on the night He was arrested and killed. “While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples saying, ‘Take and eat; this is my body.’ Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, ‘Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.’ ” Matthew 26:26-28. Lastly, He commissioned baptism after He had resurrected. He said to His disciples: “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:15 & 16. Let us enunciate: 1. Repent 2. Believe 3. The New Covenant or as commonly called now, the Holy Communion. 4. Baptism. This is the order in which the guidelines were given and that is the order they should be carried out. Otherwise, the whole exercise is of no effect.

 

Christians Have Rejected Salvation
It is reasonable to conclude that once Christians depart from the guidelines, by default, they automatically reject salvation. Even though it is in the Bible Jesus says: “For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.” John 12:49 & 50. Among other things, Jesus says: “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of GOD unless he is born again.” John 3:5. In breaking this down, He explained: “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of heaven unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.” John 3: 5 & 6.

One is born of water through baptism in water when properly carried out. Baptism unites one with Jesus Christ in His death and in His resurrection. Romans 6:3-11; Colossians 2:12. In effect for that person, the spirit that died to GOD in the Garden of Eden comes back to life. According to Jesus Christ, the Spirit cannot give birth to flesh. That is, the Spirit of GOD cannot lead the flesh. After one has been born of water, their spirit can now be born of GOD, led by the Spirit to do the will of GOD, exactly what the LORD GOD desired with Adam in the Garden of Eden. Paul says: “Those who are led by the Spirit of GOD are sons of GOD.” Romans 8:14. This does not come about by wishful thinking or by desire or by declaration. Rather, it’s a solid spiritual event.

Alas! Christians have rejected all of these. They have set up their own conditions or process to gain eternal life. They practice: Give your life to Christ; Accept Jesus Christ into your life as the process to become born again. This is nowhere in the Bible. They claim that they are saved the day they gave their lives to Jesus. Unfortunately, there is no record anywhere that Jesus Christ demands anybody’s life. On the contrary, He sacrificed His life in order for us to receive salvation and eternal life into the bargain. Needless to say that your declaration that you give your life to Jesus or accept Him into your life is completely meaningless and it achieves nothing. It has nothing to do with the LORD GOD, or with the mission of Jesus Christ and definitely, nothing with salvation.

 

The Last Day
It is magnanimity on GOD’s part that he did not destroy Lucifer outright when he rebelled as Morning Star. In man’s case, it is Divine mercy that He put in place the process of salvation for mankind. One of the evidences that the Last Day is near is the warming at the North Pole. By revelation, I know positively that Adam started life in flesh and blood at the North Pole. There was no ice there at that time. However, the vegetation was rather stunted. It was hip-high for Adam. What is happening now is the gradual completion of a cycle. This has happened before and will happen now for the last time. “This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.’ ”  Haggai 2:6. When that happens, the end also happens. Everything physical will be destroyed. This is also true with the physical aspect of man: The flesh and blood which can only function in the world Satan rules shall be no more.

One other evidence that the Last Day is near is the observation that in the past few years, the earth has been taking a longer time to complete its circle round the sun. This means that the pull that keeps the earth orbiting round the sun is getting weaker, no matter how slight. It is a matter of time that the critical stage will happen when the pull can longer keep our dear earth in its orbit. The earth will then fly off at a tangent. As predicted, the sun, the stars and the moon shall be no more. Isaiah says: “The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light.” Isaiah 13:10.

Jesus Christ says: “I tell you the truth; no one can enter the kingdom of heaven unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” John 3:5. Again, the Bible says: “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.” Revelation 22:14.  Let me remind that the Book of Revelation is highly symbolical. Washing of robes is washing the body in the blood of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. The city, of course, is the Kingdom of GOD.

The LORD GOD has not compromised His desire to spend eternity with you. What happens then when the physical world is destroyed with fire and you have rejected all moves to save your soul? It is a foregone conclusion that your spirit will remain in that fire. That is what you have chosen for yourself by default. It is like you going out, and leaving behind your front door key. You took a ride home in an inclement weather. You approached the door and realized too late that you did not have the key with you. You have no choice but to go through the suffering you have brought upon yourself.

Similarly, Hell is not a place the Loving GOD has specially prepared for your punishment. Rather, it is the place you find yourself after you have shunned all overtures to come back home. That is the inference we must draw from the parable of the Prodigal Son. Luke 14:11-31. Where you spend eternity is entirely your own choice by default.

 

Misconceptions about Heaven
            It is ridiculous to observe that Christians have no idea of the heaven about which they talk  with so much glee. Let us illustrate with their conception of Rapture. What they wrongly conceive is that when Jesus comes back, they will meet with Him in the sky and from there, go to heaven with Him. Where is heaven?

            To start with, we have to understand what heaven is. Heaven is a spiritual world in the Kingdom of GOD. There are seven of them. The first heaven is right there above the topmost end of the cloud. Let me add that eyes with the spirituality of Satan cannot see anything in the Spirituality of GOD. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 12:2 that he was caught up to the third heaven. While he was being stoned, Stephen said: “Look, I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of GOD.” Acts 7:56. This writer would like to confess to the Grace of GOD that he too, has seen the heavens open. One sees an opening of concentric circles increasing in radii upwards going through all the heavens. The topmost is the seventh. It is the abode of GOD together with the members of His household, and all who, of necessity, live with Him. The Bible tells us: “The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to man.” Psalm 115:16.

            It is a fact that when the physical is no more, we shall all be active in the spirit. Then, our earth becomes a heaven. Jesus Christ is coming back in His Spirit Nature. During His trial, Jesus Christ said: “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews.” John 18:36. At the time of His Ascension, two Angels dressed in white said to His disciples: “This same Jesus who has been taken away from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11(b). At His trial, Jesus Christ said: “In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” Matthew 26:64. Without any iota of doubt, Jesus Christ is coming back. The fact, however, is that at that time, the physical nature would be no more. We shall all be in our spirit nature only.

            The Jehovah Witness believes that some will live eternally in the spirit while the majority will live in flesh and blood. The Mormon group is even worse. They believe vehemently that GOD is flesh and blood. Jesus Christ says: “By their fruit you will recognize them” Matthew 7:20. The relevancy here enables us to conclude that by what they teach you shall be able to identify whom they serve.

 

The Rapture
            Paul says: “Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep (that is die) but we will all be changed – in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:51 & 52.  “For the LORD himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of GOD, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the LORD in the air. And so we will be with the LORD for ever.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16 & 17.

            When Jesus comes back, our earth and all who live in it will become imperishable. It is strange that Christians delude themselves by believing that they shall meet with the LORD in the air and go back to heaven with Him. Let us illustrate what the Bible is saying. A mother has been away for sometime and returns home finally. The children saw her approaching their home and they all ran out to meet her. What happens next? Would the mother and her children go back to where she was coming from? No. She has come back home and they will together all go inside. So, if we meet the LORD in the air at His second coming, we shall all come down to earth, now our heaven and our eternal home. For those who have been of Spirit and have the righteousness of GOD as opposed to self-righteousness, this is what the Bible says: “The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it for ever.” Psalm 37:29.

Why Christians Cannot Earn Heaven As A Reward

              There was a time when, like almost everyone else, I assumed that heaven is the place for you after death as reward for all the good you have done in your life time. I have listened to many reverends and pastors eulogizing the dead at funeral services, ending each time with the statement that the deceased was at the bosom of the Almighty. This went down well with the listeners and must have spurred many on to good deeds. Whatever effort one puts into the church has been upgraded to serving GOD. We have the men of GOD. There are phrases such as: working in His Vineyard. In particular, religious activities have been tied to serving or doing the work of GOD. With this at the back of their minds, Christians have paid extra devotion to religious activities. They would rather miss breakfast than be late for the Sunday morning service. The praise worship is a special event celebrated with relish and great gusto. Of course, they are proud to pay tithes in full. They pray had and long, not leaving out prayer for forgiveness which is always emotional and almost tearful. All of these combine to make the index factor that measures the quality of a Christian’s religious practice.

      Such ideas are the products of first grade ignorance pregnant with momentous calamity. Let us inform here that no one goes to heaven after death as a reward on any account. There are no standards to achieve or merits to deserve. Rather, there is a condition to be fulfilled. This single condition is that your spirit is compatible with the Spirit of GOD. This demands that your spirit is led by the Spirit of GOD to do the will of GOD. Or, as Jesus puts it, your spirit is born of the Spirit. John 3:3-8. There is no other condition or demand.

      Let us get the picture clear. The worlds where spirits that are compatible with the Spirit of GOD live are the heavens. The world for flesh and blood is in the domain of Satan. These two worlds are so distinctly different that there is no region of over lapping at all. This is ensured by the fact that you can only be active in one at a time. What we are discussing now is applicable to real human beings only. It is not true for spirits from satanic spiritual worlds that take on the human form and are now here living among men. Some of these spirits live simultaneously in three and at times, four different worlds. We also have real humans who have acquired the spirituality of Satan commonly through witchcraft and other occult practices.

       The spirit of a real human being is incapable of life with Satan. He is active in life with GOD only. The reverse is true for the flesh. Man in flesh is incapable of life with GOD. He can only live with Satan. Given this condition, it is unreasonable to expect that what you do in the flesh has any influence on the chances that your spirit will fulfill the condition necessary to live with GOD. The Almighty GOD is the only righteous one. He only is good. Whatever He does is by definition, good and righteous. Our world presently in the domain of Satan is inherently evil. No good can come out of it. The LORD GOD does not want anything to do with all your acts of self-righteousness. Isaiah 64:6. The Bible even says: “By observing the law no one will be justified.” Galatians 2:16(b). What happens is that you and your children and your children’s children are adequately rewarded for whatever you do, good or evil. You cannot do enough good in the domain of Satan sufficient to merit upgrading you to a life with the LORD GOD. This confirms the notion that nothing good can come out of evil. Otherwise, evil is good.

      Jesus Christ teaches: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ ” The first thing we wish to note is that flesh and blood can receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This is not permanent; it terminates, at most, at the point of death. It has nothing to do with your spirit. On the other hand, it is permanent when your spirit is led by the Spirit to do the will of GOD. Then and only then you are not an evildoer. Indeed, many will remind Jesus on that day about their heartfelt devotion to all religious activities. Unfortunately, all of their activities would not remove them from the class of evildoers.

      We shall now give an outline of how you can come to do the will of GOD. In the Garden of Eden in Paradise, the serpent deceived Adam to possess his own knowledge of good and evil. By this, he was no more capable of being led to do the will of GOD. He would only do his own will. Eventually, his life in the spiritual came to an end and he continued to live in the domain of Satan. The purpose of the Mission of Jesus Christ is to restore man to spiritual activity with GOD. He did this by His resurrection. Shortly before He was killed, He established the New Covenant. This contains nothing but the promise of GOD to save us. You confirm this Covenant by eating the body and drinking the blood of Jesus Christ. You follow this up with baptism by full immersion. The promise of GOD in the New Covenant will never fail. Baptism unites you with Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection. Romans 6:3-10. Your sins are forgiven and your spirit is reconciled with GOD. You have been born of water. Your spirit can now be born of Spirit. Jesus says: “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of GOD unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.” John 3:5&6.

      The problem with a great deal of Christians is that they would rather pay attention to the church and whatever the pastor says than believe the Bible or Jesus Christ even when He emphasizes that He is telling the truth. Some churches, especially the vocal ones, discount the New Covenant and teach that baptism is irrelevant. More seriously, they do not subscribe to the truth that you must be born of water and the Spirit in order to enter the kingdom of GOD. For them, it is sufficient that their victims give their lives to Jesus and from then on, conform to an affected ‘born again’ way of life.

      All your personal efforts to be a good Christian will profit you nothing. Only the LORD GOD is good. You are good when He leads your spirit. Then you have the righteousness of GOD and you are no more under any law. “But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.” Galatians 5:18. That is not all. You are not under any compulsion to be good as you are always led to be good. It’s cold comfort any way, that all of your obedience to the law and strict adherence to your list of dos and don’ts have no impression whatsoever in the spiritual where there is reckoning. Moreover, the LORD GOD does not personally react to whatever you choose to do, good or evil. He is a GOD of orderliness. He has put in place a system by which you cannot escape from the consequences of your actions. This eliminates favoritisms. He describes Himself to Moses as: “The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious GOD, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation.” Exodus 34:6&7. The ball is in your court. You have to decide on the kind of legacy you wish to bequeath to your children.

      Everyone living in the flesh is a sinner. You become sinless after you have been washed clean of your sins in the blood of Jesus Christ through baptism. You have been born of water and your spirit is revived and reconciled with the Almighty GOD. You maintain this state of sinlessness when your spirit is born of Spirit to have the righteousness of GOD. Then and only then, you are no more an evildoer.

Christian Pastors Who Lead Falsely: The Evils Men Do.

       One beautiful evening in the State of Maryland, USA, I was at a gathering by the pool side. Being a bit late, I had the choice of some vacant seats. I chose one next to a man of almost the same age as mine. We exchanged hi. A few seconds later, he asked me boldly and directly: “Are you a Christian?” I was immensely intrigued as my purpose of being there was to find a like mind to discuss the Bible with. My reply was unequivocal: “Yes, I am.” Later, it occurred to me that he too was dying for an opportunity to air his latest theological treatise. We had exactly the same expectancy. Immediately, we exchanged email addresses.

      He started off the discussion, hoping that I would have something to gain from it. Of course, I was on familiar ground and sooner than later, I started to pick holes in his theories. He was astonished by my depth of understanding of the Bible. He wrongly assumed that I was a pastor like himself but of another school of thought. It occurred to me then that a collision of ideas was imminent. Hoping against hope not to loose an ally before I gained him, I feigned ignorance of all theological theories about the existence of GOD. He briefly mentioned the three which he described as prominent and then went on to expatiate on the one adopted by his church. I was filled with disgust and was not interested in what he was saying. When I could get a word in edgeways, I changed the subject to how one can be a born again Christian. In an obvious patronizing manner, he replied: “Give your life to Christ.” Then he went on with some explanations. I allowed him to say his piece. Then I challenged him to give me the Bible reference that says that you become born again if you gave your life to Christ.

      His demeanor changed and was no more friendly. The long and short of it was that he appealed to me that I should not assail the church with its failings. He invited me to team up with the ministry to which he belonged. The membership strength in US and Canada was over 5,000,000. He would see to it that I work closely with the leader with the privilege of traveling in private jets. He went on to assure me that there was a lot of money in the business and that my own share awaits me. I turned down his offers. He was quick to remark that I was definitely possessed by evil spirit apparently because I refused to join in the deliberate mass deceit, intentional mass misinformation, distasteful and disgraceful racketeering on a massive scale and above all, misleading millions away from spending eternal life with their Creator.

      Right way back in my home town long before I came to the US, my neighbor visited on one nice afternoon and said a few things that were beyond my comprehension. She started by confessing that she was planted next door to me by the leaders of the spiritual world of evil for a purpose. They were aware that I had a mission to fulfill, (she did not elaborate), but in the meantime, they were unable to unravel who I actually was. At that time, I was not aware of either of the two, and my reply was honest. But now, I know much better. What seemed out of the world to me was her claim that she had a mirror in her room by which she was able to observe me in everything that I did. That was terribly scary. She confessed that she was a senior member of the witchcraft occult practices. She also mentioned a few things they had done to curtail my level of achievement or attainment. That depressed me to no end especially when all these evils were being brought on me even though I was not guilty of any wrongdoing.

      Within the period of the next three years, the fortunes of her family took a nose dive. I doubted that her husband who was two years my senior in the High School knew who his wife really was. When it came to the crunch, they split up. She moved to a more populated part of the city while her husband completely moved out of town. Occasionally, our paths stilled crossed. On one of such occasions, she narrated how her business had collapsed. She ended by saying it to my wife and me that in the absence of nothing else to be done, she would take her evil endowments, mainly psychic, into Christian religious activities. She defended her proposal by providing the names of prominent pastors in the country who managed their own Pentecostal ministries with many branches and considerable large number of followers. She kept to her plan and went to a Bible college, graduated and established a Pentecostal church of her own. Given the nature and the source of her spiritual powers, those who would be unfortunate enough to approach her for spiritual guidance would surely have hard-luck stories to relate. Initially, they would each have a reprieve. Eventually, with time, it would turn out to be a multiplication of their woes.

      It is detestable that quite a lot of bad and evil things happen mostly in the church. It is not a secret that pastors and reverends of every description, every category and at all levels in all the denominations, seriously engage in occult practices which the Bible condemns. Jesus Christ warns about false prophets. Matthew 7:15&16. Paul died about sixty-four eyes after the death of Jesus Christ. In that short space of time, he had come across false apostles. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15. This must not surprise us as Satan tempted Jesus Christ before He started His Ministry. Jesus Christ fasted for forty days and forty nights in His preparation to face this temptation. Satan failed. From what is going on now in the church, it becomes obvious that Satan does not rest on his oars in his determination to keep man’s spirit away from associating with GOD. He has been able to sustain his resolve unrelentingly by recruiting men and by sending his agents who take on the human form. They may succeed in their evil undertaking, but they shall surely not escape their due punishment.

      Christians are unpardonably guilty of total trust in any one who brandishes the Bible. The Bible cautions: “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from GOD, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1. How do you recognize these evil ‘men’ and ‘women’ of GOD? I strongly recommend that if you come across pastors who in any way discount the New Covenant or Baptism, know for certain they are false pastors or prophets. Satan is their master. Remove yourself away from their evil influences pronto.

Sin

          A great deal of people is agitated in their minds about sin and how to become sinless. For us to be able to discuss sin fully there is the need to define a few parameters. The entity called man is dual in nature: The spirit nature and the physical nature. Man’s spirit is crated for a sinless and pure existence with GOD and it is inherently eternal. It is functionless in all satanic worlds. On the other hand, the physical nature of flesh and blood is created for a sinful life in the domain of Satan. It is perishable. Therefore, its existence is meaningless and achieves nothing.

      In the totality of creation, only the Almighty GOD is righteous and sinless. The various spirits who live in the heavens, that is the worlds GOD rules, inhabit the Spirit of GOD. They all share in GOD’s knowledge of good and evil, the only way to do the will of GOD. They have the righteousness of GOD and, as such, are sinless. In effect, in all the heavens, there is only one mind, the single mind of GOD. This, among other things, ensures peace.

      If Adam had eaten the fruit of the tree of life, part of GOD who is the Eternal One would have remained in him to give him the righteousness of GOD. That would have allowed him to continue living with GOD and that, for ever. The Bible says: “And we are in him who is true — even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true GOD and eternal life.” 1 John 5:20(b).

      Through the serpent, Satan deceived Adam and Eve to have personal knowledge of good and evil like GOD. Automatically, they excluded themselves from sharing in GOD’s knowledge of good and evil. By implication, they were unsuitable for co-existence with GOD and were therefore banished into a life of flesh and blood. It simply follows naturally that they would not have the righteousness of GOD and eternal life.

      We must always remember that the Almighty GOD has the monopoly of righteousness and the judgment of all unrighteousness. The failing of the flesh is that it is a sinful nature. As such, nothing righteous or sinless can come out of it, ever. Righteousness or sinlessness in the domain of Satan is an absurdity. It is not meant to be. This informs the Mission of Jesus Christ which is to revive man back to life in the spiritual, reconcile him with GOD and thereby give him another opportunity to have the righteousness of GOD. Obedience to the law is ineffectual in that the law is spiritual and flesh and blood cannot effectively obey it. Romans 7:14. If the flesh can be sinless or made sinless, Jesus Christ would not have come. The Bible tells us: “For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law.” Galatians 3:21(b). It is only our spirit nature that can be sinless and that happens when you are in unity with Christ and then with GOD. Your obedience to the law and your list of don’ts will not help you. “You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.” Galatians 5:4.

 

Deceit in progress

      In the Garden of Eden in Paradise, all that was required of man to live with GOD eternally was to participate in divine knowledge of good and evil. Satan circumvented that. Through the serpent, Satan deceived man to have the knowledge of good and evil like GOD. Man with a righteousness of his own is a persona non grata in the kingdom of GOD. In addition, man lost the opportunity to rule creation in accordance with the GOD’s blessing. Jesus came and initiated the process by which man would have another chance to have the righteousness of GOD and be sinless. At His Last Supper, He established the New Covenant that is nothing but the promise of GOD to save us. You confirm this Covenant by eating the body and drinking the blood of Jesus Christ. With the New Covenant as springboard, baptism in water by full immersion unites you with Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection. Your sins are forgiven and your spirit is back to life with GOD. You have been born of water. This is how Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. Indeed without him, you cannot get back to the Father. Your spirit can now share in the mind of GOD, participate in GOD’s knowledge of good and evil and have the righteousness of GOD by faith.

      The LORD GOD sent Jesus Christ to bring the spirit of man back to Paradise for another chance for eternal life. This is for the spirit to be born of Spirit. It is indeed very strange to find that some churches teach their members that baptism is not necessary. We must remember that it took the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to order baptism for believers. These so-called churches shun the New Covenant as well. They have replaced all of these with ‘give your life to Christ’. Their victims are once again prevented from participating in GOD’s knowledge of good and evil. These pitiable victims are quite immodest in claiming that they are no more sinners simply because they have their lists of do and don’ts. Fortunately, they read the Bible. “Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to GOD. Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin. But now righteousness from GOD apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets (Books of Moses and the Psalms) testify. This righteousness from GOD comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” Romans 3:19-24. Of course, “But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.” Galatians 5:18. You are also not under any list of dos and don’ts by which you will not be justified.

      The serpent is not the agent of deceit this time. The agents are: “False apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:13&14. They are the false prophets or pastors Jesus warns about in Matthew 7:15&16. Where else can you find them if not in the church?

      Rather than take the free redemption, you now say that you give your life to Christ. Where is it written in your Bible that if you give your life to Christ you are born of water and the Spirit? No matter how impressive and long is your list of don’ts, while you are still active here in flesh and blood, you are far away from GOD and His righteousness. Paul says quite emphatically: “Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the LORD.” 2 Corinthians 5:6. There it is. Only the LORD GOD and all with Him, sharing in His righteousness are sinless.

One-on-One

       It gives me extreme heart ache to realize that Christians are so close-minded as to miss or overlook the obvious in respect of salvation. They bask in unjustifiable and unfounded euphoria that because they read the Bible regularly, attend the Sunday Church services punctually and regularly, pay tithes in full, join in excited praise-worships and pray as often as possible many times in a day without forgetting to ask for forgiveness of sins and above all, have given their lives to Jesus, they are on the highway to eternal life. How I wish for their sake that this were so.

      Salvation is not a group event. It does not depend on the Church you attend or who your pastor is. Indeed, the presence of bias, denomination and sect in Christian religion practice is a glaring pointer to the fact that something has gone drastically and terribly wrong. There is only one Christ, one Mission, one Teaching, one Death, one Resurrection, one Truth and one GOD. Where is the confusion?

      The guidelines given by Jesus Christ regarding salvation have meaning only on the individual level: Repent; Believe; Observe the Last Supper and then Baptise. On the Judgment Day, it shall not be a case of members of a particular church or sect lining up behind their leader. Each soul shall have due consideration on his own merit. The condition for the salvation of your soul is whether he has satisfied the parameter to live with GOD or not. This is none other than you as an individual can do the will of GOD and not yours.

      Paul gives the objective of the church: “It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare GOD’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of GOD and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fulness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-13. The only way you can attain to the whole measure of the fulness of Christ is to be in Christ and Christ be in you. In other words, you have to be spiritual in Christ. For this to happen, you have to eat the body of Christ and drink His blood. Baptism unites you with Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection. Romans 6:3-10; Galatians 3:27; Colossians 2:12. And there you are in the spiritual, attaining to the whole measure of the fulness of Christ.

      Jesus Christ puts this in prayer. “My prayer is not for them (disciples) alone, I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” John 17: 20-23. Earlier, Jesus Christ says: “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.” John 6:56. Unless you are in Christ and Christ is in you, then for you, His death and resurrection are in vain. For you, He must have died in vain.

      This one-on-one relationship is a must for you. It is the evidence that Jesus Christ came as the Redeemer. But you are a number in the church. Your week is meaningless if you miss the frenetic praise worship every Sunday. And so on; and so forth. These are not the reasons why Jesus Christ came, died and resurrected.

      The Bible gives this report in respect of what happened at the time of death of Jesus Christ: “And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split.” Matthew 27:50&51. Up to that time, the priests were the go-between the people and GOD in matters of worship or interacting with the Almighty GOD. The death of Jesus Christ put an end to that. There is no more any one serving as link between GOD and man. It is now a one-on-one relationship. Every one now has direct access to GOD.

      The LORD GOD says in the New Covenant, by which power baptism unites you with Jesus Christ in His resurrection: “No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know me from the least of them to the greatest.” Hebrews 8:11. That is the promise of GOD which will never fail and it will be fulfilled for you when Christ is in you and you in Christ. I hope the promise has not failed for you. It will show on you when you attain to that. Who is teaching you now anyway? I challenge you to have the courage to face the truth by subjecting yourself to self-assessment and self-appraisal. You should also evaluate the quality of your Christian practice vis-à-vis, what has been presented to you here. Do you have a 1:1 relationship with GOD or is it 1:50,000.00?     

      What now is the next thing for you? What has the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ achieved for you? Your emotions about Christ, your genuine resolve to serve Him are all good. These are your activities in the flesh. When your spirit is alive once again in a grand reconciliation with GOD, you will see it in your dreams when you are not active in the flesh.
